Interesting read.

Only issue is that after tax the average UK worker has about 1.5K-1.75k. So not everyone could hold to these kinds of numbers. But the principles are good.

difficult to prioritise , water first , that was a no brainer but what next, i have shotguns and some cartridges but not enough of what i consider the right ones , but should i prioritise security when i don't have much to defend yet , it's a conundrum and as i have about £100 a month available its going to be a long haul building a meaningful stock up , i've read the advice of spread your preps around but buying small quantities isn't cost efective.
Nothing is fool proof for a sufficiently talented fool!!!!

have allways kept a months worth of canned goods in the pantry ever since i first got my own place.

My first 2 x monthly installments have gone on a berkefeld filter £96 a water bob £40 250 eley cartridges(bb) £40 some books from the list recomended on here of ebay £20 ish and some spam half price so i bought em all £20 thats my first £200 spent(went over a bit!)....small beginings eh?
