storm water reservoir
scottish water are drilling everywhere around for the instalation of a storm water reservoir does anybody know what this entails ?

Not quite sure of what you mean, but I'm thinking SW are looking for acrages of land they will allow flood water to inundate upstream of a flood prone town. Basically they are looking for land they can divert the flood water to and hold it till the river level drops before releasing it gradually.
They drill to check see the thickness and at what depth either the bedrock is or a clay layer.

got a letter stateing that they would be works going on relating to a storm water reservoir, so they have been puting in boreholes every 200 m or so along my street but there is no flooding here and nowwhere that they could buid this reservoir ive googled it but not come up with much so im not sure whats going on .

If you google `storm water reservoir1 there is quie a bit of information out there.

It seems it is a way of catching poluted water, from rooftops and pavements etc, and cleaning it up before it runs off into the water table and polutes clean water
A major part of survival is invisibility.
