I see you're off to Glasgie in the fall. I've actually got someone coming over from there to spend some time here this coming week.

I hope you'll enjoy your stay, although you might occasionally have to pinch yourself when you remember it was, only a few years ago, proclaimed Europe's cultural capital (a title that is passed from city to city on a rotating basis and apparently unrelated to any clear element of deservedness).

I'm sure you'll quickly get into the habit of enjoying some lovely weekends out and about, and there's a ton of great places to visit, see, and do all within half a day or less of Glasgow.
