Economics is a social science and therefore is all about people - Wikipedia has a nice write up on this. The environmental issues do require some debate however.
We should be minding our own business - in every sense of the word - and keeping our noses out of other peoples.

The only immediate issues from Ukraine that are likely to affect us directly are rises in the price and the availability of grain and natural gas, we as preppers CAN mitigate against those issues.
