They took out the staples yesterday and my comfort factor has risen drastically.

Especially since they charged up the little machine and started sending electricity pulses through my spine.

I will still be on limited activity for another 6 weeks but I can get back to my cardio workouts and zero impact exercise.

The stealth scooter is about to receive an apocalyptic make over.

It is amazing how much cargo capacity they build into these little Chinese wonders! Big space under the seat and I got a model with a top box, plus I bought panniers.

I also finally got delivery of the performance upgrades to install. Took a month to get that all the way from China.

Oddly enough everything I buy for the Royal Enfield is out of India and I get it in 4-5 days!

I only have one item I need to procure to have the motor camp finished out. I need a small electric lantern. A compact one that has both illumination and spotlight capabilities and does not use much battery. I simply have not bothered to remember to pick one up when I go past the outfitters'. I must go to town to take care of some business today and perhaps I will find what I need.

I have big ones and headlamps galore, but nothing small for inside the tent at night, or sitting around the table after dark.

Progress report!

Things are moving along. My general long term back pain has been reduced to almost nothing, and occasional buzzing numb feeling down the left leg.

I have had the little borg device turned at a setting of 2-3 out of possible 10, so I have lots of reserve treatment available too.

Last night I decided to test the device, so I turned it off. I have not done that yet.

Yep I was aching and had sharp pain this morning. I drug myself out of bed, took a hand full of OTC medication and turned the machine back on.

Bet I don't do that again!

I used to use the maglite in candle mode hanging from a pole tab before I converted them all to leds , burn time was 25 to 40 hours with the halogen bulb depending on the batteries used.

Nice thing about the present day is the availability of many of these small items at extremely cheap prices.

I found what I needed in the tool box. I already owned it. It is a free pick up from one of the local importers of fine Chinese wares. Has a hook to hang it and a magnet to stick it to metal. Sits on its side pretty well and should do nicely as both camp and work light.

10 LEDs on lamp mode and 3 on "flashlight" mode. Works almost forever on a 3V disk battery and I have a charger for those.

If I had purchased it the price is $4 us. what is that? 2 1/2 pounds your money?

We had a little dispute with your lawmakers over those tax practices 250 years ago.
