EGG Zactly, but to be fair cooperation tweeen groups or families is simply not everyones cup of tea. My fascinating chats with Barneyboy and making me think very hard about the extra and possibly unneccessary risks from cooperating if socialist principles are involved.

I wonder if my friend title means he is from Barnsley or as its properly called the Peoples socialist republic of Barnsleybad Smile, I built a WF there and have never come across so mant left wing nut jobs in one place !! Smile

The problem is that based on the comments elsewhere on the forum it's pretty clear that most preppers even ones that appear to be like minded can't be fully trusted, they can only be trusted to a point.
I don't want to discover that point, in my back one dark night.

I had (naively) hoped that if things got bad enough a group would split amicably each taking their own stuff and going their own way.
It's clear that when things get bad enough most preppers (even your 'trusted friends') will kill you for the tin of beans in your backpack.

isnt the whole point of starting a group is that you join up with people you KNOW you can trust before TSHTF so that after the poop hits their not going to get all iffy and bugger off into the night but will stay and make the group thing work...otherwise there is no point to any of these discussions on this forum and we might as well ALL go "lone wolf"

RE: Bugging out contact
The forums are here to share knowledge and ideas
It's not necessary to have a group to benefit from the forum.
