i always thought a slingshot was your good old David and Goliath type not your Y shaped bog standard (what we all had as kids..and what i've got now) sort

wel sling shot is english but it used to just mean the David and Goliath type its the meaning thats changed to mean catapult too!!!

But how many of you actually use one?
I use one on pigeon. Works a treat.
A simple black widow with half strength power bands.
Ammo is 1/2" clay 'dough balls' in warehouses or grain silos.
If it doesn't kill them, it puts them down long enough for me to get to them and dispatch them.

i got a wooden catapult at a car boot for 50p, took off the old knackered elastic and replaced it with a double strength shop bought one, now its really powerful
