sprouting seeds

i bought a sprouting jar today, after watching a vid on youtube. Looks like a great way to store seed with a 700 % increase in nutrient yield within 3 days anyone tried this? any pointers ?

best advice i can give is to research thoroughly, google is our friend ^^

in my experience a wet paper towel or simple cup of water will work fine, depending on size of seed you could also roll it gently in your molars till you hear a gentle crack, or to line a matchbox with sandpaper to make it easier for a seed to absorb water...which is what makes it sprout ...but im no gardener
