Dont they drive you mad, stark raving mad,

If I asked a camping expert for advice on the best tent pegs they would tell me about metal pegs, wood pegs, plastic pegs, screw in or hammer in, notched or drilled, where I could get em and how much I should expect to pay.

BUT

Ask a technogeek about say " what antenna I need for my radio" the replies will be on the merits on trying to cross an Aaardvark with a Zebra in an aquarium, they will post a schematic of a Borg Warner Automatic gearbox for a DAF truck, tell you its not the antennas fault its you to blame, and totally ingnore the original question !!!!!!Smile

Rolleyes Did you hear about the two antennae that got married? The wedding wasn't much but the reception was great. Tongue

Dodgy If you always have, on your person, at least 2 ways to make fire, you might be a prepper. Tongue

RE: Technogeeks
Well part of being a geek in any subject is you know more about electronics than people. It is part of the job description. It's why they get paid so much for their expertise.
