yeah, they wait until Maggie Thatcher is dead then vote in a strike, none of this craven lot they laughingly call "politicians" will do anything about it, see the country grind to a halt....no teachers, no fire fighters, no ambulance drivers, no police-well they arent much cop when they are working, no refuse collections, dead lying unburied/cremated, no trains/tube....you add to the list!

i'm not so sure these days, the Police Officers association...or whatever its called..is getting very belligerant these days, as for the Army taking over there are less of them than there are police these days so number for number that wouldnt work.

Yep, it takes guts to do what Maggie or Ronald Regan would have done;

Fire them all
Block their rehire
cancel their pensions
Start taking application to fill their positions

Regan did that with several public service unions that attempted to rule by with holding critical services.

Back in WW2 several unions tried this in the U.S. and our president (The famous communist FD Rosevelt) immidiately conscripted them each and every one into the military. Failing to follow lawful orders brought trial for treason.
