The Flower duet from Lakme is one of my favourite musical pieces, many thanks for that folks.
Here's my all time favourite composed by Fransisco Tarrega, called Recuerdos de la Alhambra. Some of you may recognise it as the theme tune from "The Old Country" a series in the seventies hosted by "jack Hargreaves" the "craft" guru. The story the piece is based on is quite sad. During the "reconquista" of Muslim Spain (Al Andalus) the last Emir fled leaving behind his beautiful palace, as he looked back one last time he started to cry, his Mother was reported to have said "don't cry for something like a Women, that you couldn't save as a Man"
