A couple of years back the Scotties were down for the rugby , and a few stopped at the local pub, a great bunch of guys as ALWAYS , after the match they arrive back at the pub (yes they actually went to the match ) as all Celts do , and after about 5 mins Hamish ....there's always a Hamish pulls out this CD grabs the mic off the bar (used for quiz nite) and solemnly announces his is missing scootlan and did we mind him putting on his CD of Scottish folk songs cause he was missing his wiff and burns we all nodded agreement " oh what a lovely man" one girl muttered , back to Hamish now hanging on the end of the bar, this first track ...shaky voice ... I think you will all know ..sharp intake of breath, it means so much to me ....and I hope to you all here tonight...another sharp intake of breath....turns up the volume .......My boomerang won't come back! by Charlie Drake , brought the house down after the initial shock, my sides were splitting as I hit the floor laughing uncontrollably , not seen Hamish since but I do hope I see him again what a great guy , and does the TWIST in a kilt with meaning and determination prepper related oh yes even preppers need a Hamish now an then.
