A crude attempt at an EDC Bow list
As I openly admit I dont have much knowledge on archery compared to many other members, but i do like lists
So I thought I would make a first attempt at an EDC Bow list for us, IE if you had to head out the door in a hurry after TSHTf and needed your archery kit, what perhaps you think it should contain?
Heres my first effort
BOW(naturally) Compound / Traditional / Recurve / Crossbow
Quiver plus strap or belt
Arrows
String wax
Spare nocking points
Super Glue for fixing damaged plastic fletches
Dental Floss for fixing damaged feathered fletches
Spare String for Trad / Recurve and Crossbow
Multi-tool.
Some folks may also want an arm guard and others also want eye protection.

RE: A crude attempt at an EDC Bow list
All my cross bow [large] and pistol crossbow, plus the spare strings and heads for both are in one spot, so it would be easy to collect those up and run,... but my larger bow and arrows is separate, so they would have to be left behind,..its just easier to grab the cross bows at the moment,... I wouldn't bother with anything else

Don't forget your finger Stalls or Tab mate!! you'll have sore fingers, unless you're dead hard
Spare points and a stick of "hot melt" glue.

Bracer: unless your technique is bang on, and your sleeves not too flappy.
Spare arrow rest if needed.
Leather belt pouch to keep it all in.

That's right NR, the key to field Archery is to travel fast and light.

fast and light would be a problem too - back to being in a hide/op for me then
