I have been using the one for a long time, storing dried food in empty coke bottles is an easy way to store dried food, the bottles keep air tight, they are tougher than the original packaging, they store better, either standing or lieing down, and you have a great way to re-seal.
I am using them for dried veg for soups, Porridge oats and Rice, but the range of food that could be stored in this way is vast
It was an idea I saw on `Doomsday Preppers`,... bad as the program is, there is always the chance of a good idea surfacing
A major part of survival is invisibility.
