just taken the dog on one of our country walks, wife found(foraged) a whole load of horse chestnuts!! she's well pleased!

I hope it's sweet chestnuts she has as I believe horse chestnuts are poisonous.

Horse chestnut is not edible, would not recommend eating them.

sorry my mistake, horse chestnuts are conkers, these are SWEET chestnuts and are edible.
