Destressing for preps
May I enquire as to how do other folks relax and distress?, After work or after a hard day or after struggling to get some preps or homesteading sorted out what do folks do to unwind and relax with.
Do you read, knit, walk, swim, soak in the tub, pull the legs off spiders, drink, do some baking, go for a drive, build models, play with the rug rats etc.
And may I also enquire do you think your favourite method of distressing / relaxing will still be available to you after TSHTF
( NOT interested in SDs pole dancing, I'm still getting over the pics of him in a leotard he showed me)

take the dog for a long walk.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

RE: Destressing for preps
Play with little'un, walk the dog, and cook. I really enjoy cooking - last summer I didn't use the cooker in the house for months, all cooking was done outside, t'was wonderful.
That and a little light herbal relief when all of the above has been completed.
3 out of 4 will be available PSHTF, and that'll do me quite nicely.

Wow, completely forgot the thing I do most of all - reading!
I have 2 or 3 books on the go at once.

You are correct, no IT specialists needed.
Luckily (for me) I have a wide and varied skill set. I've had 42 jobs over the years (including lots of contracts) - I've not just trained myself to be an IT consultant. My main forte was process streamlining (problem identification and solution) - identifying bottlenecks or issues - and removing or bypassing them. Best way to be exceedingly unpopular in a new job - turn up and tell everyone how to do it better. But that's what they pay me for.
