How dramatic we are today!

And I thought you folks were looking for a press of the reset button, return to the old ways, reduction of the population through plague and famine (as long as it is not YOU dying of course) rebuilding a Utopian dream.

After all the projected death rate in nuclear war is only 90%, so 10% will pull through and that will put the world back to the population level of 1800ad world wide, which seems to be where everyone wants to start from anyway. The long lost horse powered 19th century.

Not sure if you approve or not MB ? but one thing we can depend on....when you mark our papers ....there will be some remark scribbled at the bottom of our test sheet pointing out our total lack or grasp of historical...or current thinking or even understanding ....that's why we love you.....and hate you .....all in one hit......your a fucking enigma lol.............. tip of the day......passing comment whilst looking down belittles the efforts of many who try...to teach ....or pass knowledge ....lead ....by example....

What is the difference between having these missiles stationed on the island and having them situated in a missile submarine one mile off the coast of the island?

I agree with about nothing Obama does, foreign or domestic, but this situation is only an issue in the imaginations of those that do not realize there are missile subs cruising all over the world two or three miles off your national coast. It is not worth a confrontation or a response to the provocation. You just move a few anti-missile defense units to that area and move along.

Thanks for the tip SS but I was a "polite teacher" for 35 years and no one is paying me for the information transfer any more. Fact is I erased half the post before I submitted it in the attempt to avoid insulting the entire island.

Can we please all just calm down a bit. Yes, it is a bit tense (globally) at the moment, but it is probable that things will steady a bit, and in all honestly there is not a lot any of us can do in any event. What are we all prepping for anyway? BB is right - submarines are on patrol at all times, and it is normal behaviour.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

For anyone over the age of 65, the best treatment for radiation exposure is single malt whisky and cigars. Recommended dosage is a pint of spirits per day and one cigar. Stock your shelter with a 30-day supply. When the whisky is gone it is safe to leave your bunker.
