Those people I kow who trot out the mantra, are some of my own friends over the years. I used to think that maybe they had a point and it would have been easy to leave it at that and so stop worrying about it ever again - But thankfully I didn't and later went on to find out a whole lot more about this subject area. It is grim, but it is not the simple fatalistic result you often hear. Study study study and then you will gain enlightenment. TL.

Yes. A full scale nuclear exchange would be most grim... There is no getting away from that!
