RE: Tactical walking tips for bugging in or out
One good tip for moving during dark , very low light.
This tip is also useful when on foot , but can be a lifesaver sometimes when in vehicles -
When moving through wooded areas , it's better to look up and ahead than straight ahead....watch for the gaps in the canopy of the treeline , follow the direction the gaps take - it should keep you on the road - the path or road will cut into the trees and there will be a gap overhead where the lack of underlying trees means less canopy - follow it to follow the route of the path/road.
Trying very hard not to be paranoid.....and it aint getting easier.
