This is certainly a very good scenario, one that I am thinking about now. I happen to know of an old barn near here that is empty. The farmer went bankrupt and it appears that no one will buy it because of the debts they will have to pay off. Its a very large sum for electricity alone. It could well be of use in a survival situation. I shall keep watching to see what happens. I know of several old cottages that are empty in rural areas. I must start making notes of such things.
