With regard to the growing of your own fruit, veg etc after the shtf.
my thoughts were about concealment of growing vegetables etc.
In "Ragnars Urban Survival" done in the early 80's I think ( I have a pdf copy if any one wants it just pm me) he mentions the fact that joe public would recognise most vegetables when grown in regimented rows, but not if it were on its own. Try it go down to your local allotment and have a look, you'll see what he means.
I thought about planting in irregular patches, or around trees etc, odd bits here and there, Ragnars book also recomendeds that. I suppose it has it's pro's and cons...
I mean how many civilians know what a potato plant looks like? or a carrot plant?
Youd instantly know it was some sort of food if in rows though i think.
I dont normaly recomend stuff but he had quite a lot of books out on the subject of prepping and I can say their a bloody good read.
