A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, con a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyse a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. A survivalist needs to be multi skilled, he needs to be able to fire a rifle to a high standard, deliver a baby, grow a veg garden, pull a tooth, navigate like Maggelan, care for livestock, operate a two way radio , drive a 4x4, improvise a cooker, diagnose and repair a vehicle, plan an tactical operation, write a report, be a diplomat, research a subject, be tactically and situationally aware, understand global politics, ride a motorcycle, be able to preserve a batch of food, act like a soldier whilst look like a civilian, be able use a knife and sharpen it properly. The survivalist truly needs to be a jack of all trades ( and in the case of NR be a great lover

Would be nice to see a published info sheet on radio frequencies and kit when you lot settle on eventually, so lesser skilled dweebs like me can just adopt that standard.
