I hope you actually told them that you'd love to do an article but regrettably owing to the total lack of journalistic ethics in the industry you don't trust the journalist not to twist and misrepresent you in an attempt to get a more attention grabbing article by totally sacrificing the truth.

Ask the journalist if they'll give you copy approval and if they decline name and shame the papers on the site.
