I've gone through 2 of the blazer lighters now. Great little things.

Many, many uses, and yes, they are MUCH better than the cheapo versions.

You can use them to cut an empty can of coke / beer in half. Or if you're feeling mischievous then you can heat up door handles in pubs etc. This is very mean, but it's also quite amusing after a few beers.

Mine only broke cause the first one got clogged up with some fine moroccan hash, and the second one I had in my pocket when I jumped in our swimming pool, which seemed to bugger it forever.

Time to order another one!
These are great lighters too - you can't cut anything with it, and it's not for spot welding like the Blazer, but they're very tough, a tad cheaper and I found it to be better quality.
