Home schooling.

home schooling is a great idea and a terrible one in my mind, with no other choice im sure you can teach all the important skills you need to to bring a well balanced intelligent and able child, pretty much anyone can with enough dedication but i had a mate who was fiercly intelligent and went first to home school then to a comp, and he was very bad socially (one of my best mates though cause he was the only one i knew close to being as clever as me and not a total knob end xD) and also he went crazy alot and wasnt stretched by the school (same as me lol)...only main diffference between him and i is i had social skills and was just as clever

but yes i think all modern schooling is terrible, encourages bad social behaviors and spreads disregard for intelligence...and only home schooling or really good schools will cultivate and encourage intelligence

must say one of my most vivid memories from secondary school is my teacher saying, right everyone right everything you know about radiation down on this bit of paper, and me being a total science lover started writing about neutrinos and lepton number conservation and all sorts of sub atomic sh!t (which was all right too), then handing it in and getting shouted at for writing stuff above what i should know apparently extra curricular learning was a bad thing and if i wrote it in my gcse's i'd get marked down

so yeah school is rubbish xD least with home schooling you can encourage that special talent of your childs
