God yes house prices are obscene in your area, up here in this very village you can buy two and three bed terraces with front and rear gardens from £57,000.

what would a 3 bed detached cost then??i have just been looking at a 3 bed detached rural (very rural) cottage, thatch needs replacing, chimney needs rendering, plus 8 acres, and they want £350K.
