I very nearly bought a prefab house. The estate agent selling it neglected to mention the compulsory purchase order due to be applied to the property (for almost 50% less than I was going to pay). As we were having our 2nd look at it one of the neighbours was in the garden & asked if I was daft & then told me about it.

We desperately need cheap houses & lots of them asap.
