RE: Gas mask suits and boots
Ok,.. this has been great, just what I wanted when I started the thread,... we have now dealt with the person outside,... but if possible I dont intend to go outside, I plan to stay inside the house if possible.
I think it would only be for a couple of days, what with the British climate being what it is,..at least rain would be a very welcome sight if all this happens.
So,... we now need to protect the house,...I have a small three bedroom bungalow, what do I need to do?
If possible I would like to move around the house, so I can watch outside, if only for signs of life to tell me its all clear,... I am fairly sure that modern double glazed windows seal very well,... but doors will need taping, letter boxes etc too...
.... but what about attics, there is usualy a gap around the roof edges, if the contamination can enter through there, then we would need to tape any attic doors, or its likely to enter that way
What about the grills in the walls below the floor level?,... I take it that with the contamination dropping like dust that its not likely to enter here,..so any trap doors under the floor wouldnt need taping,...or would they?
Anything else we would need to do?
A major part of survival is invisibility.
