Subject: North Pennines moorland cottage for sale!

After 10 years of living at Curlew Sike, a former lead miner's cottage set on a heather moorland in the North Pennines, 2013 is the year Colin and I are planning to move house! We will be relocating to Berwick upon Tweed, partly to be closer to Colin's work in Dundee, partly because we feel it's time for a change!

It's early days yet, but in the coming weeks we will be putting Curlew Sike up for sale. We will be appointing an estate agent soon and still need to get a proper valuation, but it's such a 'one-off' property which lends itself to such a distinctive lifestyle, we thought you may know the kind of people it might appeal to!

Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you think may be interested in living in a 2-bedroom detached cottage surrounded by garden, fields, stunning heather moorland and amazing North Pennine wildlife!

We will be creating a website with full details soon, but in the meantime pictures showing the house and its surroundings together with general information can be seen here:

Anyone who would like to find out more about the sale of Curlew Sike is welcome to email me on elfie@curlew-sike.co.uk
