New to bows

RE: New to bows
I went for traditional bows as thats what i grew up with, no compound bows in those days, so i went with what i was familiar with. i was lucky enough to fall over 2 cheap bows, i bought 1 at a car boot for £2-no bowstring, the other i bought at a sunday market for £25-guy had bought it in a house clearance, i like these cos i can buy wooden arrows for them on Ebay at a reasonable price. the only problem with a longbow is if your not using it regularly you need to unstring it, otherwise the wood will set in the strung position and then be no good. a compound is therefore better for some people as it is kept strung and instantly available..or so i'm told! others on this site have more knowledge of compound bows than me and i bow to their superior knowledge.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
