RE: Allotments, a very real threat to our community
its a good point because i know of a few allotments that have slowly gotten smaller as buildings popped up around them.
Luckily the allotment i have is on the site of an old iron age fort so the chances of building on it is highly unlikely.
however, they could suddenly decide to do an archeogical dig there like they did 25 years ago.
then id be screwed as id simply loose the lot.
the last time they had a dig there it lasted nearly 3 years
i think they only put the allotments back so they could carry on getting the ground turned over just incase they left anything behind.
