that was the costs I was meaning.
certainly not cheap or easy.
i was told an old saying years ago by my grandad. (wasnt but i classed him as)
Cowards go into war, Men come out of war. but only the truly courageous survive living after it.
I never understood it as a child.
then I realised the cowards were the people on top who never see the battle line
The men are all the young boys that went in and came out changed.
But its the bit that comes after the war that is the hardest to live through.
