my mother always had a handbag full of sugar, salt vinegar, etc.

everywhere she went she accumulated it.
as kids we laughed at her.
since me and the OH took up camping etc. ive got drawers full of the stuff.
I just cant resist.
its a worse compulsion than the one I laughed at my mother for.
