Urbanised Vehicles for preppers

Another aspect to consider is that if you are in a major urban center post apocolipse, say Londun, with a population of 8million + there will be a million abandoned vehicles at the least.

Why would I want to spend my preping money buying and building something I will be able to walk out the door and drive away after the owner or the car/truck dealer abandons it post event?

I would think it would be better time spent finding out where the local Land Rover and Merc dealers hide their keys!
