OH just said clear grease is probably preferable to the black grease that comes with it, in case you get it on yourself...which i am always doing.

did you twist the string a few turns before you put it on BP? you will need to wax the string with beeswax as well.

maybe the odd turn-not several, i was more concerned with getting it on!
