I can see that's a question NR - it's just that I don't get it. From your posts to your reputation, I can see that you know prepping - and know it well. What I don't get, is how you can ask such a dumb question.

I finished 24 years of service as a WO and I understand tactics perfectly well. At one point, I specialised in logistics and controlled equipment for a Regiment of 800 men.

Tactics and strategy come from your mind - what you know - not from the arse-end of what you happen to be wearing. You can be kitted out like Secret Squirrel but if you haven't got it in your head, all the kit in the Quartermaster's will make not a whit of difference.
