i know what you mean, but a group(unless a VERY close family one) only means trouble to me, i have been around for a few years and i have seen just what humans can do to each other and believe me it isn't pretty, so to me the only possible way to survive Post SHTF is to get as far away from other people as possible, its not so much the event that is the problem, there are always ways to solve that, the REAL trouble is PEOPLE and how they behave post event or post collapse. the riots a few years ago shows us just how people will behave even in a temporary situation, imagine then that it isn't temporary but permanent.

and i'm not unique, i'm not the only one who thinks like this.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
