all slow growing trees are best I think

coppicing ash would be good if you had the land

it's getting the land that's the problem oh and the fungus that about at the moment ..... for what I've read you wold need about 3 hectare for cooking and heating but for good measure I would plant 10 acres and work on a ten year cycle of coppicing
