You may be generally correct but people will soon bug out, or should I say seek other places when they have no more food and/or water and the local stores are empty, probably looted. Hunger will drive them out and they will seek anywhere and do anything to feed and water themselves and their children.
They will not just sit in doors and die quietly.
not necessarily John, I don't agree they'll leave their homes, they may scavenge further and further afield but come back to their home afterwards. only if there is a large die off and many houses are left empty will people move on.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
