Surviving the Emergency Room

That was a good read. I worked in the ER for 9 years before I moved to the UK and went out on the road. I keep screaming all the time about common sense when it comes to medical advice. If you hurt take a pain killer, if it's bleeding stop it first then take a look. Having worked both sides of the pond I realize that people are the same where ever you go. There are just as many idiots here as in the states. And that very true for Texas (lived in San Antonio for 6 years) .

I've talked to a couple of people I work with about if they would goto work if SHTF and most wouldn't. I would personally set up shop in my village and try and take care of my community with my extensive medical kit and maybe a extra ambulance to provide power with its electrical outlets
