A US made product I value highly is the Swack Shack, designed by George W. Jasper, former U.S. Army Ranger and chief instructor with the United States Rescue and Special Operations Group. It's constructed of 70 D Nylon Ripstop, #46 Mil-Spec Bonded Nylon Thread, has 3 loops of 1/2" nylon webbing along the center and 4 - 3/8" grommets along each of the two sides.

Agreed, Some of the Genuine issue gear is few and far between.

That seems like a great alternative to what I'm looking for so I will definitely consider it in comparison to the DPM basha.
