It sounds like a big ask, buy my sleeping mat is under 1kg, my sleeping bag system will be about 1.5kg, my tent is currently 4.5kg (including bag and spare tent pegs), that is 7kg already, then there's the cooker, FAK, and all the rest of the equipment.

I'm looking at getting an ultra light tent, which isn't going to be cheap, but it will cut the tent weight to about 2kg or just below (if I can afford it).

The idea it to make a system that is portable enough to be able to move at 'high speed'. By that I mean running.

Damn good luck on getting your kit down to that, I never manage to get under 45 lbs even after all these years. Crossbow takes up 6 lbs, bolts 2 pounds, cooker and fuel 4 lbs, med kit 1 lb, hygiene kit 3 lb inc towel, changes of clothes plus waterproofs, tools etc, food, water, maps, rope, sleeping bag, basha, paracord, trowel, spare glasses, radio, flashlight, light sticks, spare batteries, camp knife, mess tins, kfs, its a constant battle to lighten the load.

The sleeping bag is waterproof so I just use a poncho or tarp rather than a tent.

Mummy sleeping bag, 2-layer construction with a 24O tog polyester outer shell, polycotton liner and 300g/m² hollow fibre insulation. It packs into a compression sack. Comfort rating of -2.4°C to +3°C with an extreme rating of -18.7°C, it has a zip and shoulder baffle for extra heat retention and a built-in pillowcase.
With a good liner should take its extreme rating well into the -20's.
Price £26

All modern sleeping bags are quite good, just remember to store it opened up and not compressed long term in a bag, every 6 months of compression badly reduces the lofting and tog rating.
