RE: Behavior of the "Golden Horde" in the UK
We can speculate all we like about what might happen - all we really know is that something 'might' happen but we do not know what or when.
My take on this is that the folks in the large towns and cities will find the going tough after about three to four days - assuming that generally supplies have slowed down or stopped and the electric/gas/water has become unreliable. Then you will get activity on the lawless front which will escalate after a few more days and this will then turn ugly if the authorities are absent or unable to cope in a reasonable fashion. Then we might see some kind of evacuation into the countryside - people looking for long lost relatives or not so long lost relatives plus the opportunists looking for a smash and grab situation.
Those of us who already live amongst the hedges and trees will have had advance notice of this through what is left of the media and any grapevine that has been set up in advance - so we could be ready for the 'invasion' should it happen. In any event my belief is that country folk will always be better prepared for what life throws our way normally and it would be the smaller close knit communities that will survive in better shape generally.
