I don't think its actually ever going to " Run Out" I think its simply going to become a luxury item that only the wealthy will be able to afford. Its getting harder to find, more difficult to recover, costing ever more to refine and demand from Asia and Asia minor is pushing up demand by crazy amounts which again drives up prices.
I reckon that in my sons lifetime its going to be government, agricultural, council and military vehicles with fuel and the masses back on bikes, buses, trains, metros, tubes and trams.
Mid Mo when I was young no one ever believed petrol would reach a pound a GALLON, near mind over a pound a litre.
