Whenever geomagnetic reversals happened in the past, it did not devastate life on Earth. So don’t worry about it. It is unlikely to happen in our lifetime, probably not for hundreds of thousands of years. And even if the Earth’s poles flip, it wouldn’t be the end of the world. You might need to take a sharpie to your compass though.
