feel safe...?

Living in the sticks as we do, I feel fairly safe most of the time. We don't see much of the Police around here - they drive down the lane occasionally and the locals come out to gawp at them. Quite funny really. Crime in this area is mainly the rural stuff - theft of property from fields, yards etc., with the odd bout of rustling or beehive nicking. Nothing dramatic. A bit further into the County though and the Eastern Europeans do cause problems - they are usually responsible for most of the muggings, drink-related problems and so on. All pretty basic stuff.

When I do go out on my own it's in my Landrover; doors locked and sometimes dog in the back. Tangle with me if you dare!
