No, not at all....

There must be a washing machine in nearly every house in the UK, that gives you a motor....

Most households have more than one car, that's a couple of 12v batteries and a couple of alternators, plus lots of other bits.

These sorts of things are very robust and solid and are unlikely to simply rot away or disintegrate. Unlike the body work of your Ford Focus Wink

As for a "slow" die (something you don't believe in....), well for a slow die off to occur it means the general population must be receiving some form of external support, food, water etc.... It would also most likely mean large refugee camps as being the only way for this support to be provided, therefore you aren't necessarily going to have "millions" of people scrounging for the same scrap.

Furthermore, Joe public wouldn't necessarily both either..... they would be more interested in looking for hand outs.

But then even if you are right and millions of people do go out scrounging these parts, the parts will still be around after those people have died or been killed......

And as for me and S13 going out looking for these parts 'with everyone else', well I'm pretty sure S13 like myself has already considered this Wink

As for no more being manufactured , yes that's right, but there are still Millions of these parts out there and they will last way beyond yours and my life times......

But it also doesn't mean that in 50 years we won't be able to start manufacturing such things again either..... look where we were technology wise 50 years back (1965) or 100 years back (1915) - we've come a long long way and whilst I am NOT saying we could back to where we are in 50 or 100 years, but at some point we will.

AS WE ALSO WILL BE !.....All our time will be taken up with ....hiding what we have and defending what we have...not much else will take up our time is the view I have....the more desperate sheeple become ....the more dangerous they become.....nobody will be worried about mobile phones , Xboxes, television,or the internet this will be the last things on the mind of sheeple......AND US !

Yep spot on SS

Why wouldn't any of us have a few second hand car alternators, cables, 12v batteries etc etc tucked away in our garages 'now'....
