That's a good point Charles, I guess you could recruit 3-generation British.

I'm thinking that a volunteer force like the Home Guard ( originally called the Local Defence Volunteers - LDV - which was dropped when it became known as Look, Duck and Vanish ) might be used to protect reservoirs and power-stations and the like.

Back in WW2 it wasn't difficult to spot a German, and there weren't too many Nazi-Sympathisers outside of the the Royal Family and landed gentry. It's different now, jihadists will be undercover in the UK, we don't know how many.
