RE: Fishing wire use
well different fishing wires have different tensile strengths, should say somewhere on the spool Smile...but apparently it can offer be less than is stated, heres a thread i found related to it

http://www.ifish.net/board/showthread.php?p=2698805

but at any rate, cordage is cordage and as such carries all the same uses as it normally would....you can use it for trapping, tying stuff together, stitching wounds, emergency shoelaces, lashing, net making, trip line, other assorted traps and snares, dental floss etc. etc.

it has lots and lots of uses! for a good thread on multi use items and what you can do with them, have a look at this link
http://www.todayssurvival.com/forum/inde...383.0;wap2

oh and theres a little bit on making snares
http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores...reId=10151

oh and just off the top of my head, being female, a hair band! i frequently use string to tie my hair up if i cant find a hair band Smile

oh and you could use it to tie off bags containing items, stitching clothes, i really could go on for sometime xD

hope this helps Big Grin
i just got an answer for everything dont i xD
