NO, do research to see if this or other system will suit your needs, my own experiments and research have shown ME that CB is unsuitable for my needs, Standard PMR 446 is a joke and Ham for specialists, You need to find out what suits your own family or group.

For my own needs I need simple, reliable, affordable, unlicenced, hand sets that can do 10 miles line of sight, I have not found anything as of yet to meet my needs.
